Important Information

Pegasus Springs Education Collective is excited to welcome our partners, presenters, and all attendees to the 2022 Education Summit at the Walt Disney World resort! We are committed to creating an event experience where all participants can safely and effectively collaborate, network, and learn.

To receive a registration badge at the Summit that allows access to sessions and meals, all attendees will be asked to sign an Attestation Form, which confirms that they have either received the COVID-19 vaccination OR received a recent negative COVID-19 test result. The form also confirms that they will follow all other guidelines and expectations.

Below are the expectations and recommendations for the Education Summit, an excerpted summary of the current guidelines and protocols for the Walt Disney World resort, and a copy of the form that all attendees will be asked to sign at the Summit registration desk at the Coronado Springs Convention Center. In the event that any guidelines change at the Walt Disney World resort in the coming weeks, we will let you know right away.

Here are a few other reminders and recommendations as you plan your trip:

  • If you still need to make your own hotel reservations at the resort—or if you are interested in purchasing discounted theme park tickets for event attendees, be sure to visit our private Disney event link.
  • If you are making airline reservations, book your flight to Orlando International Airport (MCO). From there, you can either take a taxi or rideshare to the Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World (approximately 20 miles)—or you can book a seat on a Mears Connect shuttle to the Coronado Springs Resort.
  • Once you have your hotel confirmation numbers and/or any park tickets you may have purchased, you probably want to link them to your own Disney account that you can use to manage all your plans and to make sure your hotel reservations (check-in/check-out dates) and any other park reservations are all accurate. You can then view and update your plans online at your My Disney Experience page or by using the Disney mobile app.
  • If you’re interested in exploring more information about attractions, guidelines, and other recommendations for visiting the Walt Disney World resort, visit the Disney World website.

If you have any other questions or concerns regarding plans for your trip, feel free to contact us. As we prepare for the Summit, we are looking forward to seeing you, to exploring ideas, and to learning from each other. And most importantly, to imagining the future—together.

Summit Recommendations & Expectations

  • For maximum safety, we encourage all participants to be vaccinated against COVID-19 but also offer a negative test alternative to participate in Summit sessions and events. To receive a badge at the event registration desk, all participants must attest in a signed form that they have either been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 OR have received a recent negative COVID-19 test result (within the 72 hours for a PCP test, or within 24 hours for an antigen home rapid-test).
  • In accordance with guidelines at the event venue, face coverings are optional during Summit sessions and events. It is recommended however that attendees who are not fully vaccinated wear a mask or face covering in all indoor locations. And even for attendees who are fully vaccinated, if wearing a mask or face covering makes you more comfortable, we absolutely encourage you to do so—especially while indoors and/or in close proximity to others. We encourage participants to engage in a manner that lends itself to a collaborative experience, while also allowing for individual choice, safety, and comfort levels.
  • We encourage participants to wash hands and/or use hand sanitizer frequently throughout the day. We also ask that participants practice respiratory etiquette if/when not wearing a face covering, such as covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.
  • If an attendee begins to have symptoms of COVID-19 at any time during the event, that attendee should isolate, refrain from attending any sessions, notify us, and adhere to the resort protocols.
